An Heroic Challenge is the same Boss Raid dungeon as a Vanquisher quest, but the mobs are tougher and a little more plentiful. Also, there may be an Heroic chest (which requires a key to open).
You must complete the Normal mode version of the Raid Boss dungeon before you can attempt the Heroic version.
Challenge quests are sequential and must be completed in order. There is no quest-giver NPC, it simply appears in your Quest Tracker window when it is available to you. Afterwards, see the Heroic Challenger to collect your rewards.
Note: Heroic Challenges are limited to two attempts per day. Heroic Challenge dungeons are instanced, no players outside your team will be there, and mobs do not re-spawn. Once completed, a Heroic Challenge cannot be repeated except in a team with someone that has the quest.
Remember, Risen are immune to Electrical and Light, but weak against Dark and Necrotic.
At several spots in this dungeon (at the first bend, at the barrel barrier and in the final plaza) additional mobs will spawn and should be cleared before rushing past. Take your time when moving forward to be sure everything that is gonna attack you, has.
