Speak to Sister Katey Dalwynn at 30, 148, -53 next to the Cairn of the Huntress in New Halas (Frostfang Sea) to begin this quest.
The alternative to this quest is Tainted Love, given by The Lady of Insurrection ( 8, 149, -64 ) . Players may choose to complete either Heal the Pain or Tainted Love, not both. After the selected quest has been completed at least once, players may not switch to the alternate choice in following years (as of 2013). Players must have completed the quest Unforgettable before this quest will be offered. It is repeatable once per year.
- Take the world bell to Everfrost. Click on the Shard of Love portal at -57, -9, 58 and choose Shard of Love: Weeding Corruption.
- This is a solo combat version of Shard of Love: A Healing Touch. Mercenaries are allowed in this zone.
- Slay 20 tainted Shard of Love inhabitants. This is any of the attackable mobs in the zone.
- Click on eight vases to destroy Seeds of Distrust. Known locations: (there are many more than listed below)
- -12, -15, 42
- 11, -15, 43
- -42, 0, 33
- 9, 2, -41
- -121, -5, -105
- -141, 13, -187
- -23, 16, -188
- 13, 21, -186
- Finish clearing the zone if you are collecting candies for crafting or to exchange for Erollisi coin!
- Return to Sister Katey Dalwynn to complete the quest.

You say to Sister Katey Dalwynn, "If there is anyway that I can serve Erollisi, I will!"
Sister Katey Dalwynn says to you, "The oracles of the Sisterhood have sent me a message - Something is amiss within the Shard of Love!"
You say to Sister Katey Dalwynn, "How can that be? Erollisi is alive."
Sister Katey Dalwynn says to you, "Glory to the Mother! She is, but that does not make her realm impervious to attack. Enter the holy realm, dispose of the tainted creatures that inhabit it, and destroy the Seeds of Distrust that have been planted within vases in the shard."

You gain Alternate Advancement experience by completing a quest!
You convert 7800 experience into AA experience!
You receive Golden Vase of Charity.
You receive Erollisi coin.
Sister Katey Dalwynn says to you, "Then take this and know that you have served the Loving Huntress this day!"
You say to Sister Katey Dalwynn, "Gladly!"
If you accept Heal the Pain and speak to the Lady of Insurrection:
