- Get a paladin to tank it. Normal trash mob pull, but tank has to switch attack off and build aggro with spells & AA. Put possible caster mercs to burn and use taunt if/when you lose aggro.Once casters have burned it's DS switch to normal melee mode and you're fine.

Our exp group (lvl 98-100) pulled this mob and combat data says max hit was around 40k and often 25k for 98 pally / 3500 AA / 7300 AC.
Hits were hard, but fairly easy single group mob anyways.

After clearing Stillmoon Temple 4 times I can confirm that it is a pretty rare drop. No luck this time.

Edit. Switched to Lavaspinners Lair and got it in 10 minutes. Might have been luck, but I'd recommend it anyways since there you can concentrate on pulling nothing but potential droppers |
