Trion offers Defiance Season Pass for post-launch DLC

Launch day is almost here. Trion’s multi-platform MMO Defiance opens on April 2nd, inviting gamers to explore a post-apocalyptic world torn asunder by alien terraforming technology and decades of war. In addition to pre-order, players can now pre-purchase a Season Pass, bundling the first five DLC packs with bonus in-game items.

Spread over the five packs, we’re told that the Defiance Season Pass will include a new playable alien race, new weapons and vehicles, further missions and more rewards. By purchasing the Season Pass for $39.99, players will save 20% on the individual pack price of $9.99. As a further bonus, an in-game Hellbug combat cap and lockbox will be included with the Pass.

The Defiance Season Pass will be $39.99 on PC and PlayStation 3, or 3200 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360. A full copy of the game is required to play, available to pre-purchase either direct from Trion or now via Steam.
