I got a good deal and bought the damn game but no one talks! What on earth is up with these people. I would run up to a group of 3 or 4 people and say something and they just walk away or stand there like zombies. Any normal people on Mysida? LS me if you can, this is just weird. My character's name is Bellatrix Lestrange.

Yeah, that's how it feels to me as well.

I saw a Roegadyn wearing red leather shoes and a subligar, and when I made a joke about his "interesting" outfit, he just walked over to the NPC and started to craft.

I know he speaks English because I saw him talk to someone later...

Maybe chat logs are too littered with information; I really miss the FFXI log: it was so easy to see, easy to organize, easy to navigate, and had a nice prominence on the screen like a real FF.

Oh well, back to waiting for updates.
