Captain's Log While patrolling near the Pico system we received a message from Starfleet that Nausicaan Marauders have been reported in the area. We were ordered to investigate. Engage the Nausicaans and protect the miners. Rewards 52 Skill Points 13 Bridge Officer Skill Points 21 Starfleet Merits

Supplemental Log

Around the Pico System, in the Asteroid Belt that surrounds it, you will find Mining Facilities. In the vicinity of each facility you will find enemy ships. The two objectives in this mission may seem linked but they are not. When you get close enough to a Mining Facility you will get the update and a message that you have unlocked a new respawn location. The second objective will, obviously, update as you clear the Njausicaans from the area around each Facility.

Proceed around the planet, in either direction, staying in or near the Asteroid Belt, moving from Facility to Facility, destroying any enemy ships you encounter. The Facilities are easy to spot at a distance as they are all on much whiter asteroids than the surrounding rocks.
