These amphibious creatures originated in the marsh regions near Kalanay and regional coastlines. Over the centuries their unique biology had allowed them to adapt to the elemental variations across the Machine. Marshgulpers' ability to adapt to a variety of climates has made them popular specimens for scientific experimentation, and some believe that the recent explosion of Green and Blue gulper populations in Nexus is far from natural. Gulper Legs have long been a favorite delicacy for orcs, so the creature’s recent domestication has spurred much controversy.

All Marshgulpers can use their tongue to lasso and pull you to them.
