The official Final Fantasy XIV site has been updated today with a lot of new information!  Most everything that hit the magazine racks in Japan today has been fully translated for foreign players to enjoy.  Just click underneath the picturesque adventurers to access new Bestiary, Disciplines and Lifestyle areas. 

The Bestiary features a list of monsters to be found throughout Eorzea, including some of the drops lucky players can get their hands on.  Hunting fauna and selling their drops is said to be an important way for adventurers to make money in order to buy new equipment.

The Disciplines section has new data on Lancer and Archer, two of the Disciples of War.  From what is revealed, we can see that attack types, such as slashing and blunt will play a part in battle.  Additionally, the type of weapon you use will determine your range.

The new Lifestyle area will give players insight into a typical day for a crafter in Eorzea.  The role of a crafting job is going to be much more fleshed out, as they will serve a much more key role for adventurers.

All in all, some exciting stuff!  Square Enix keeping everyone in the loop like this is very encouraging for the success of Final Fantasy XIV!
