Armoire storage? Follow

Hi everyone. :)

This has been bugging me for awhile now, but I can't tell if it's a bug or if I'm just missing something. But with the Lightning event, I have to ask. There are just too many weapons to store.

Am I the only one puzzled over how the armoire in an Inn works? Supposedly, it was for event and seasonal items. But I can only store half my bathing suits from the summer event and now, none of the weapons given in the Lightning event are able to be deposited. Does anyone have an idea?

I know I can store them on a retainer. But eventually, we'll run out of room. For some, I imagine that time is sooner rather than later.

I thought you could store your entire AF set as well, but I might be wrong. I haven't been able to find a use for the Armoire either.

Hopefully we'll get furniture for housing that can also store items for us like we had in FFXI..

You can store your AF in there.

As for the event items. I think in the past and in other games, there was an update after or shortly after the event was finished that allowed the new items to be stored in those types of devices.

I thought that's how it worked.

You can store all AF armor if it has been repaired to 100%
You can store some of the trunks from the beach event (i have confirmed blue trunks can be stored), but not the tops (confirmed that blue top can not be stored).
The bathing suit bought with vouchers given as part of the subscription rewards (mine were black trunks and top) can not be stored
Lightning quest items can not be stored.
The pumpin heads from the halloween event can be stored in armoire Smiley: grin
The ghost outfits from the halloween event can not be stored
Darklight and AF2 can not be stored
Odin and Behemoth gear can not be stored.

I would be mad, but anything that can be stored saves me inv space and I'm all for that. For now I'll take what I can get.

So far as I can tell, the distinction is 'event items that were in 1.0' and 'those that weren't.' Pre-ARR items seem to store just fine. (That said, I didn't play 1.0 and am merely surmising. I also surmise it will work much like event storage did in XI, and a patch will be added to include them later. Why it isn't ready when they launch, I'll never know...)
