- lvl 47 grand company quest
lvl 47 grand company questFollow
is the level 47 (or is it 46?) GC quest a dungeon quest because I thought Dzemael Darkhold was the only GC dungeon quest?
If it's level 47, I think it's Aurum Vale.
but i thought AV was unlocked by talking to nedrick in vesper bay. not by doing a GC quest?

I think either way they send you to the NPC standing outside the dungeon and that unlocks it in the DF.
Similar to how you can be sent to HM Primals in a couple ways, but you have to go there and synch to the crystal for actual access. That tricked me. I figured since the log said "use DF to enter" I was ready to go. Nope.
Go talk to Papalymo at the Waking Sands side room, then synch at the Primal's Crystal.

or maybe its like the darkhold dungeon where theres a quest in coreathas that unlocks the dungeon and allows you to actually go inside of it and complete it where as the gc quest opens the dungeon as well as making completing it part of a quest (unlike the coreathas quest which only unlocks it but theres no quest completed if you finish it). so maybe with AV. nedrick unlocks and opens the dungeon for you to complete whereas the gc quest opens it as well but completing it is also a quest?
the reason i ask is because on the bluegartr dungeon unlock guide it mentions both ways to unlock darkhold. but for av only nedrick is mentioned as if the 47 gc quest has nothing to do with av so im hoping someone whos done the 47 gc quest could shed some light onto this

Tho for Darkhold both send you to unlock Dungeon if you win Dungeon but haven't started the GC part of it you will have to do it again.. It happened to me for AV I had unlocked it for the quest and even beaten it and at that time the next GC quest was AK, But when 2.05 came and changed the dungeon from AK-AV I have to redo the dungeon for win for the GC now, So I'm pretty sure just like Darkhold both things will Unlock it and you can win.. but it doesn't count as a GC win if you don't have the quest open
