I was reading up that world transfers were only available for 2 weeks or so... Is this true? Reason I'm asking is that at the moment I'm living in Canada. In 3 months time I'm moving to Australia. If playing on an NA server while in AUS doesn't work out will I have the option to change server later down the road...? I dont mind paying or anything... Just don't wanna be stuck..

FFXI had a 3 month gap in between even paid transfers. You'll only get the freebie in the first five days of the campaign. I'd assume if you pay for the second one, you'll still be subject to whatever restrictions they have.

But if they follow FFXI's pattern, that second transfer will have to wait three months... which sounds like what you were planning anyway.
