Is there a way to select hotbar commands with a gamepad? because as it stands right now a gampad is only good for moving and moving the camera i still have to use a mouse to click stuff on my hotbar.
Also how do i change hotbar "pages"?
lastly can you set the PCs hotbar HUD to look and fuction like the PS3s HUD? i know that would limit what you can put on the hotbar but thats what im used to working with sooooo.

I think it's in character settings, change to the controller setup as opposed to the mouse setup and it'll swap to the PS3 layout.
One odd thing though.....didn't you refuse to ever play games on a PC?

ya, you need to swap to gamepad mode. Once you do, you can set abilities and macros to the cross bar.

well considering i spent 3000 on a laptop i figured id at least try it out. After all its hooked to my tv and im using a PS3 controller to pay so I may as well be playing on my ps3 just with better graphics/resolution. and i wanna see just how much "better" the pc version runs (i.e im going to test if invisible FATEs still exist)
now if only i could use my ps3 controller through bluetooth instead of taking up a usb port, and without having to buy a bluetooth dongle considering the laptop has built in bluetooth (not to mention my bluetooth devices on laptop stop functioning for about 3 minutes every 30 minutes.. i wonder how to fix that)
one thing i dont like on pc is how my character moves i press forward on the stick anh he seems to run slightly to teh right instead of straight ahead like he does when i play on ps3
Sounds like your controller's analog stick calibration might be a little off.
As to bluetooth, I actually thought there was a way to do that, though it'd probably royally ***** up your controller's normal PS3 association.
