is there a stat difference between your job and your class? because i just unlocked my job and switched between the two and the only difference i see right now is the one extra ability the job adds plus 2 LESS cross class slots and less cross class abilities so as it stands unless im missing something a job seems like a downgrade from a class?
It is a downgrade in abilities but an upgrade to stats/other abilities (that classes do not get).
Jobs are more of a refined class. Instead of being a CNJ with lots of abilities, you are narrowed to more healing spells as a WHM.

You also gained a bunch of buffed and specialized traits
