Maybe i have missed it or have overlooked something but here goes...
Are dungeons 'party instances only' or can one solo zone into a dungeon?
I have some mobs i have to hunt in the Halatali zone, so that is why i ask.

All dungeons have a party requirement.
You have to go into Halatali with a party to get those H/log mobs. They are spread though out.

You have to find a group. Gotta do what you gotta do, and I think its fair enough, if you want a promotion, go do a Dungeon.

Even if you could somehow get into a dungeon by yourself you'll be level sync to two levels above the dungeon requirement. So you could't go and solo them if you wanted to either way.
I've done them dungeons dozens of times over. It is just that some jobs takes way too long to find a party in DF and i have to switch to CNJ and/or WHM which would get me inside in seconds.
Would like to get access using some other class though.

Halatali is easy and shouldn't take long to find a party at any class for that dungeon.
