How do I switch from French to English ..-.-Follow

I live in Canada and recently baught the game in town for my bf's ps3. He's got it on french settings and has his own PS network account. So I pop it in and start to play (after a few updates) and find out It's in french! So I naturally log out, go change the ps3 language setting to english, log back on ff14, and change the Lodestone to english and also the ingame option setting to english. But it remains in french. The storyline cutscenes are in enlish ( so far) but everything else is in french.

I was wondering if there was an easy fix to this or I afto to live with it. I don't mind it but It's a pain when everything's named differently.

yup, got that on english as well. it don't put the game in english.... ;.; I'm starting to get a bad feeling... but I say ''Meh'' I'll live with it and watch out for any updates I could use in the future. thx for the reply anyways :)
