Hey guys, i just completed the 5-meld Materia Achievement for the Gambler's Crown, but i cant seem to find that thing anywhere. It's not in my Armoury or in my Inventory, and i even checked the Achievement Storage in my Inn room as well.
Do i have to pick it up somewhere?

Yeah, it's kind of redundant, because he tells you about it AFTER you find and talk to him, (And he will continue to tell you every time you speak to him afterwards) but there is no indication that he is an important NPC. Even a merchant symbol above his head would give people some indication that he is someone to not just ignore. By the way, his name is Jonathas and he is located in Apkallu Falls in Old Gridania.

Actually, if you go to the help tips that pop up. The Achievements one tell you to go see Jonathas. However, it neglects to tell you where. I spent quite a long time looking for him.
Yep, found him and also found the message yesterday in the achievements help pop-up.
It's kinda silly since they only show that to you once, when you obtain your very first achievement, probably in the first 5 minutes of your playtime. And not when you actually get something where you need to pick up an item from it 50 levels later.

Omg yes even looking online gave me the run around was so frustrated lol

I think its silly they still offer the gamblers crown, such a slap in the face to people that pulled off a 5meld in 1.0. They could have offered a similar reward in place of gamblers crown >.<
