Controller for PC question :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

So I play FFXI with a Logitech Gamepad F310 and it works marvelously. I'm wondering if it would also work for FFXIV? I'm reluctant to try it though until I find out because I cannot stand the keyboard controls for PC games. Thanks!

I use the F310 daily. Works fine. It has a small learning curve though.

Ive never tried the one you currently have, but i use a standard XBOX 360 wired controller and it works wonders.

I would think any controller with the same amount of buttons would work fine, its just the 360 pad is already set up with the game.

I use a ps3 controller but I launch using better ds3. It seems less buggy than the ds3 tools that came with motionjoy.

I'm using the Logitech 710 wireless, but occasionally, and especially if I enter a crowded area, I'll start running out of control, or the controls will stop responding. What's wrong here?
