100% spiritbound :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

soo what d you do with equipment that gets 100% spiritbound? i think its for materia but do you need any crafting skill to turn it into materia? how woudl you go about turning it into materia

There's a quest in Central Thanalan where you learn how to convert. I think you have to be a DoH to start it. After that you can convert any of your gear. To meld materia you need a DoH of the appropriate type of sufficient level, Leatherworker for leathers, Blacksmith for metal weapons etc.

You need to have a lvl 19 DoW or DoM (not DoH) class to get the quest that lets you convert spiritbound gear into materia. You need lvl 19 DoH to get the quest that lets you meld materia to gear.

Cool. Wasn't sure because the assistants wouldn't talk to me unless I was DoH, I never tried the main quest giver though.
