I think it was 10 active quests at once in 1.0, is there a limit in 2.0?

I didn't like that I had to pick and choose in 1.0. In FFXI you can/could open as many as you like and finish as you go. In 1.0 however, you had to abandon one if you wanted to accept another. Levequests didn't count, I don't think. Anyway, is there a limit this time? I have refrained from accepting to many because Ill forget one I was doing or was going to do. Thanks in advance.

I think 20 or 24, click J to open Journal, there should be a limit underneath. Leve doesn't count and probably Main Story as well.

You still have duties, and there is a daily limit.

However they do stack up if you don't do the limit of 3 per day (not sure how many can accumulate tbh)

Normal quests are aplenty and ive never had an issue taking out every single quest at a hub.

Duties are just static events you trigger for yourself, they cover all aspects of game play so you can do crafting or gathering or combat. Some are required for quests, and you have to do an initial duty to unlock an NPC's duties at each hub.

Didn't play 1.0 so not sure if that all worked the same way. I do recall watching a 1.0 video and they did the same animation with that stained glass card for duties.

Levequest (so called duty, is not duty, duty is referred to Duty Finder) allowance is 3 per 8 hours.(or 12, cant remember).
