The following issues have been addressed.

• If a server goes down while a player is participating in a Duty, they may be prevented from logging back in due to the Error 90000.
• Several players may enter the same instanced area during a quest battle depending on the server load.
• The game may freeze when an instanced quest battle starts.
• The cutscene during the quest “Escape from Castrum Centri” may get cancelled if the player is attacked while the cutscene is playing.
• If a party wipes while progressing in the instance dungeon “Brayflox’s Longstop,” they may not be able to reenter the dungeon.
• The server may go down under certain circumstances in the instance dungeon “The Wanderer’s Palace.”
• A player’s level may remain synched even after the end of a FATE.
• The server may go down under certain circumstances during FATE.
• Experience points obtained for crafting a level 50 recipe is lower than intended.
• Game control may be lost if the Main Menu is opened at the moment a character begins gathering.
• The limit for receiving the “Allagan Tomestone of Mythology” may not reset correctly.
*Also, the receiving limit will be reset on all PCs during the maintenance on Sep. 4, 2013.
• The Mark of the Twelve may appear on a character even if the character is not on a Legacy account.
• The number of company seals displayed in a player’s achievements may be incorrect.
• If a cutscene plays while the “Character” window is displayed, the player’s character may appear in an incorrect location.
• The server may go down under certain circumstances when a company chest is interacted with.
• The text may not function correctly.
• The client may crash if a text command, which requires an object or character to be targeted, is entered without targeting anything.
• During character creation, a 3035 Error may appear if the “UPDATE” button is pressed in the World selection screen, preventing the new character from being created.
• Full-width alphanumeric characters may appear when texts are entered with “kana input” settings. (PlayStation®3 only)
• A key must be pressed twice to attach a voice sound or semi-voiced sound mark on Japanese words. (PlayStation®3 only)
• The screenshot feature may not work correctly. (PlayStation®3 only)
• The Support Desk feature may be unavailable. (PlayStation®3 only)
• The message displayed after unlocking all aethernets in Gridania is in Japanese.
• The help text for magitek armor actions is displayed in Japanese in certain instanced dungeons.
• The client occasionally crashed when a player took a screen shot or changed their display settings through the system configuration menu (Windows only).[/ul]

The following measures have been implemented.

• We have implemented countermeasures to alleviate the stress on servers.

* An additional fix was added on Sep. 4, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. (PDT).

I wonder if their countermeasure is an auto kick and it's not properly logging people out?

Could be more likely that it is duty finder not communicating to the world server that the player has left duty finder (since that is where they made the most confirmed changes that could create the problem).

We will see, I logged in and went to work and left myself in my inn room. I will check at lunch to see if I am still in. That will confirm or deny an afk kick, I am certain. If it is implemented, that is ok by me, as long as it is in place for everyone. The Lodestone says that I am still logged in and i has been nearly 3 hours. I don't know how often Lodestone updates though...

If you go to your page and click on your Free Company and select "members" and go to your name, you will have a little connection icon to the left of your name. If this icon is glowing, then you are online. If it is not glowing, then you are off line. The same may go for if you select your linkshell and browse members, but it is easier for me to get to the free company link.

Technically, it's only a hotfix if the servers aren't taken down. The "hot" part means the electricity is still flowing. Otherwise, it's just a patch.

I know it's just nitpicking, but it's there's a vanishing legacy of fixing problems without service interuption in a world where rebooting is the only way out of your closed system failure.

So I did the same thing. And it seems I'm still logged in which I don't understand if they did a hot fix after the time I logged in.

To update Wint, I believe that they fixed the issue that was server side, but I went back at lunch and checked and my character is still sitting the inn and connected, so I do not believe they have instituted an afk kick with this patch.

I don't think that everything they have done since beta has required a reboot of the world activity. The fix was probably located on a duty finder server, or a server that is dedicated to other functions.

I think the last think they need to do in put in an afk kick. Just imagine the backlash should it NOT work as intended(9000+1)? Kicking people just because!

I logged in once this morning and logged back out immediately. Lodestone is showing me with a glowing icon. Maybe that means I'll get hit with the 3102 until I reboot my router. ^.^;

well whatever they did it seems to have worked on solving the connection issues.

Logged on one try, with a 1 person queue.

Had to log out because my keyboard driver thing crashed and I lose my bound special keyboard keys (actually razer synapse crashed and my mouse buttons were messed up too) so I had to restart.

Logged back in no issue no queue.

So are people still having issues or did they fix everything here?

From my experience, there is a significant lag in the Lodestone updating the character status.

Yeah, I highly doubt it refreshes in real time. That would be a serious waste of resources for something so trivial. Most likely it refreshes periodically. I highly doubt its original intent of that icon was to check for server bugs :P
