WHM or SCH?Follow

I see that whm and sch both heals. so for end game content, which job fits the best?
which job will be chosen for raids?(equally geared)

another question. if I want to go full whm, do I have to be whm/smn, whm/sch or whm/conj?

Doesn't really work like XI anymore. Both should be fine for endgame content, and the harder stuff will probably benefit form at least 1 of each. You don't choose a specific sub class anymore either, but you can check out this spreadsheet that has what classes can use what abilities: Cross-Class Skills

they are both good. But then they work together they are extremely good. 2 whm's good, 2 sch's decent, 1 whm 1 sch the best. Whm is more heal heal heal, sch is more heal heal buff. I think it's a matter of personal choice for whm or sch, i love pet jobs and i love to heal,so sch was a no brainer for me. Having Eos heal while i buff the party is amazing, i can micro manage her while i'm casting something.

From a guide that I read, each healer is better at healing a certain type of tank. It went something like:

WHM heals for large amounts per heal, making them much better suited to heal a WAR tank without having to worry about too much overhealing, as WARs have a much larger HP-pool than a PLD, but less mitigation.

SCH makes a much better PLD healer, as their absorbtion effects attached to their heals allow a PLD to make the most of their low health and high mitigation.

I'm not going to say one is better then the other ;however, when you don't feel like healing(or being a WHM), they both "can" be dps but one has Egii.

SCH can be a added DPS, your not going to throw numbers like ACN did but still decent. When you have a good party set up, Eos can easily handle majority of the healing solo, just hotkey her moves and your free Bio I and Bio II stack.

If PLD vs WAR winds up being similar to the way the two jobs were in FFXI, then PLD is a tank with better damage mitigation but less damage while WAR is a tank with better damage but less damage mitigation. If that's the case, you would want to complement a PLD tank with more damage (thus SCH with DoTs) and you would want to complement a WAR tank with more raw healing (thus WHM).
