Scholar gets a MND boost when you equip the soul. (I don't know how much *exactly*, but there's a fairly distinct stat difference.) You should still be pumping MND for it.
Because of the fairy, healing in general feels a lot more...even (I guess?) on SCH than on CNJ. Succor and Adloquium are expensive, of course, but can help create a buffer for you when tossing them in occasionally with Physick.
SCH also has MUCH earlier MP restoration options over WHM, and with how Aetherflow works, you're going to be using it constantly for the buff, regardless of the state of your MP. As a result, as long as you keep Aetherflow on cooldown, you're not going to feel like you're running out of MP unless you're spamming Succor and Adloquium endlessly, although you may find it necessary to use the Aetherflow charges on Energy Drain. With the fairy helping out on healing, you may even find yourself at the bottom of the aggro list if you don't toss out a few DoTs.
Other than the healing the fairy provides, the fairy AI seems pretty bland. You may find yourself using the support fairy over the healing fairy for the spell and skill haste buffs unless you think the regen is needed.
