Is anyone else getting this error right now? The "start" button is grey and this error pops up after a while. When I could press the "start" button after a few tries, the game was unable to access the NA/EU character lists. Am I the only one?
Nope, me too. I'm on Ultros. Just think of it as progress.
Wife got on 30 minutes ago. I was watching her character and there has been no new log ins on our FC...so I imagine they shut things down again.

Just restart your client a couple times. Finally got through, JP down, NA down, then both up, then both down, then queue!
any idea how long it will be down?

Read this and gave it a shot and it worked. Took me restarting the client about 10 times, but eventually my character list popped up and logged in just fine. Same story for my wife.

Everyone having this issue please take this advice. It's annoying but it will get you in, took me about 7 tries.
Been trying to log in for the past hour. Sometimes this error occurs. When it doesn't, world is (surprisingly) full. 
New servers can't come early enough!

I am getting this too....first time getting this error so early in the morning but its probably because its the weekend.
When I don't get the error I get the unable to update worlds message so I'm screwed either way lol
It looks like they changed when you get the error messages now. Getting 1017 before my character even shows up.
