I have loved games such as FFVII, VIII, IX and even XII. Not played the older FF's, although I am a seasoned RPG gamer. Just wondering if most people are actual FF fans are moreso MMORPG?
I am really loving the game - i've previously played WoW and became addicted, but this seems to have more of an interesting story and so far is really well designed.
I think it would be really interesting if the FF franchise would use elements of FF XIV to create the next FF - big open world, different combat, quests etc.

Well most came here cause they like FF games I reckon. I myself am not that experienced FF player but I do love them a lot! ARR is a good MMO with a very good feeling for me. I only hope they keep updating to make it last!
Obsession started at Final Fantasy 1 on the NES. And while I had to deal with the North American market handle on what they called FFII (FFIV) and FFIII (FFVI), eventually I was able to play all titles.
And although I claim to be a fan of the series, Chrono Trigger is still my absolute all time favorite video game of all time. Still playing it.
