The guy at GS yesterday told me that FFXIV isn't accepting new players until Tuesday? Is that true?

Also, I am a non-legacy player from 1.0 and the beta if that makes a difference.

From what I understand, only digital sales have been halted until Tuesday. You should still be able to pick up a physical copy and play, assuming you can actually log into a server.

However, if you played 1.0, you don't have to repurchase the game. You can just download the client from:

http://sqex.to/ffxiv_client_en

You'll get access until at least the 9th, although it's looking like that may be extended by a few days due to congestion issues.

Wanna hear something even more messed up.. My buddy never got his CE in the mail so he called they oversold and now he is SOL..
SE really messed up big time.. He now does not have a copy of the game. so dont even tell him or send him a different copy. Now when EA is over he is screwed.

I am loosing interest fast in this game. I have a CE for both the ps3 and pc and dont even try to log on anymore. Seems the longer I am away from the game the less I want to play.
