Reinstalling the game isn't going to activate your account.

It's the only thing I can think of, every code I have needed to put in has been put in all along the way. It's asking me register a game that has already been registered.

have you logged into the Mogstation site and looked at what SE's system things you have for service accounts?

Yea, it says not active, it says to activate put in your registration code through sony entertainment network, which I did several days ago when I bought the game. Something is goofy, cause I'm not the only one having this problem, not to mention that the PSN just took FF14 off the PSN store also. Something is screwy here.

Same thing is happening to me, it's asking me to enter my registration code, that's been entered awhile ago...

EDIT: Ok guys I figured it out, basically Square just wanted me to enter my registration code (The one they send you in your e-mail when buying the game not the early access code or any other codes) to start the free 30 day membership, after I entered the code everything went back to normal, logging back in now... good luck!

If I had to guess, they had a glitch in code generation and there's a bunch of dupes. Another miss....

I have my DVD in hand I got from Amazon Tuesday, thought the code I got for EA was my code so I didn't try until this morning. I submitted a return request to Amazon and will have a new game in a couple days on the far end, and will try to get ahold of SE, but at a 3 day turnaround, I'm not sure who will get back to me quicker. If you find a different way to address the problem, please let me know!

I didn't order the game from SE, I bought it directly over the counter from Gamestop. It has the registry code in the inside cover. I doubt I will be getting any registration code from them. /fingerscrosed

You're probably in the same boat I am, take it back to gamestop and tell them what happened. Given the slow reaction time from SE, it might be quicker to get a new dvd than to sort it out with them. There's several threads on the net that people had to get ahold of support because of this.

@jcvaliere - can you give me link to that?

this what happened to me - tried logging in today, got a message that my account may have been compromised or something. They sent me an email containing a link to change password.

When I changed password - I logged in FF14 launcher (I'm on laptop), it went to the registration page. I typed in my SE login info and password (new one) then it asked for a Product Code. When I entered the one I entered before, it generated an error that it was already used (of course, I've already used it for my account).

This is just... frustrating :|

By the way, got my collector's edition from the UK.

the proof is purely anecdotal, but what I did was logged into the account management screen ( don't have it up now, or I'd take a screenshot) where the error handling was a little more robust. When I entered the registration code through one screen I get "the code is invalid" and the other I get "the code has already been entered" ( the verbiage may be different). I took those responses and goggled then with a 24 hour time limit and got several people that had the same issue, making me believe that there was an issue with the code generation. My wife entered her code last night no problem, so it's not all codes, we'll see.

I don't have a registration code other than the one I was given for early access.. I ordered a digital download of the game through the square-enix store, is anyone else having this problem? How do I find the correct registration code?

ok... fixed mine but my wife is on e PS3 and none of her codes look like mine did, everything in the package is a different code combination so they wont "fit" into the same spot on the mog network as mine did.

I'm having this issue as well. I opened a support ticket; unfortunately they don't open for another 2.5 hours.

I found the right code by looking up my order and a different serial number was listed there. Go to www.findmyorder.com... now to figure out the wife's PS3 code..

You don't need to register the game more than once. If you had 1.0 then SE automatically granted your account access until Sept. 9, 2013.

All this stuff and more in the sticky folks Smiley: tongue

If you registered an early access code, all you are granted is early access which ended yesterday at midnight. If you have a physical copy of the game, your registration code is in the box. Depending on where you ordered a digital download, you either need to go back to that website or check your email(spam folder included) to complete registration.

^Totally understand that part but the format of code it is asking for on the mog network is not the same format as the code on the registration card that was in my wife's copy of the game. Does the PS3 version have to be done on the PS3?

I would imagine so, but I'm not 100% on that. I know that the process of registering for early access was different for PS3 than it was for PC so I'm guessing the same is true for normal registration.

yup it was, she figured it out. You have to register the 12 digit code that came in the box on the PS store under redeem codes.

1) Check the sticky.
2) If the info there doesn't help you then come back here and provide more info like what platform you play on, physical or digital(if PC), where you purchased, ect.
