Hi Everyone!
After going through the first couple of dungeons with my friends, witnessing a Lancer limit break 2 demolishing a boss, and ending up in a long long FATE with goblins and just masses of people, I would like to congratulate SE, Yoshi P., and the whole development team on doing an outstanding job!! Being an FFXI and 1.0 veteran, I can truly say that this game delivers fresh new experiences. You can see that they really put their hard work into this game. I am excited on what is to come next, it'll just keep getting better and better! =D
How did everyone's first experiences go?

So far so good, though nothing quite as exciting as that yet. I can only play for a few hours after work, so I haven't gotten far. Finally got level 10 last night. I'm a little unsure of a lot of things. It actually feels quite good to be a noob again. So much to do and get excited about. First dungeons, and what not.
I'm a little disappointed in that I created an Arcanist early in the morning on launch day, but had to go to work. I haven't been able to play it since (1017), nor can I create one on a better server. I am only able to get in to the server with my Thaumaturge. It was a little boring at first... stand, nuke, repeat. But now that I got sleep and found myself in a couple situations where I needed to CC a little, it became more fun. I'm excited to see where it goes from here.
I'm pretty patient so far about this 1017 stuff. Every MMO I've every played had overcrowded servers and long queues on launch week. It will ease up soon. They seem pretty determined to fix it quickly. The queue system could be better... but that's not what this thread is about. :)

Yeah, it's been a long time since I had that feeling of newness. The last time I felt that was in FFXI's Bastok hitting earthworms! Haha, that was long long time ago. XD
*SIGH* i started nursing school monday. Was able to play a little bit on early access. an hour or 2.
*SIGH* only can play on the weekends and for short period of times *SIGH*
The game is great from the time i was able to play!!!!

LOL! Amen to that. Or going to the dunes for the very first time as a healer with no macros. That didn't go well.

Haha yea! When I went to dunes I immediately said "Hey Lizard, I could solo that", then everyone else starts healing you and you just say "Thanks!". XD
