So I Preordered the PS3 CE physical copy from Amazon in June and selected the Standard shipping. Just got an Email saying it shipped today and won't be here till Sept. 5th...... The registration code is in the box right? So am I boned after the 30th when you have to be registered or is there a way to get my registration code before then? Does anyone know?

Oh man thats lame. They billed me on the 26th so i thought it was shipping thay day. First time ive pre-ordered a game... ever
. I have a week of vacation starting friday too so i was looking forward to playing.

Since it's a physical CE, he might want to just keep the order. Those suckers sold out fast.

I cant cancel after its been shipped and they stopped sales of the game anyways ;(;(
I saw some PC and PS3 Collectors Editions selling for upwards of $200.00

That's a bummer. I had a similar experience with Amazon when I pre-ordered Star Wars TOR. I selected release date delivery, and they did send shipping information to the carrier 2 days before release, but the tracking stopped at that point. 2 days after the release date, and after 4 calls to customer service, they finally acknowledged there was a problem and shipped the game overnight. After that, I decided to steer clear of Amazon when it comes to time sensitive pre-orders.
Hopefully your game will arrive sooner than expected.

I read on reddit if you preordered feom gamestop you would have gotten the code in the game box AND another different one on the receipt...

Well you could go and buy the regular game at the store and then purchase the CE upgrade online I don`t think they have stopped you from upgrading to CE for 19.99 i mean at least then you have two copies of the game and you get the online CE bonus stuff :)
I live in VA, my PC CE has been in transit from NJ since last Friday. I called USPS customer service and they said this was correct and it still on its correct schedule.
