PS3 Trophies with PC accountFollow

Hey guys. I just got back into the game with the re-release. I am interested in going for the PS3 platinum trophy in FFXIV, but I honestly would rather spend most of my time on the PC version if possible. Does anyone know how cross-platform trophies work? There doesn't appear to be the equivalent of the achievement moogle in FFXI in this game. Does that mean I have to, for example, craft 1,000 smithing items all on PS3 in order for the trophy to pop? Or will the trophy just pop once I log back into my account after meeting a goal on the PC version.

I'm not sure if anyone has the answers yet, but I figured I'd ask.

I wish I had the link proving this, but I remember reading somewhere in the last day or so that if you play on the PC and do something that would unlock a trophy on the PS3, the trophy will unlock once you start playing the PS3 version. I'm not sure if it's immediate or if you have to play the character that it would've been unlocked with or if you have to talk to someone or...if you have to do anything else, but it sounds like the tracking mechanism keeps track of what you do on the PC. So, you won't have to stick exclusively to PS3 in order to earn your trophies.

Go ahead and smith all the items on PC, if you want. You'll still get the trophy.
