How do you pay your subscription in advance?Follow

#1 Aug 28 2013 at 12:03 AM Rating: Decent
I wanna pay a 180-day subscription in advance so I can receive the gifts. I tried to change my subscription service but it doesn't seem to charge immediately and only after the free 30 days is up. Anyone figure this out yet?

You and me both. Apparently we won't be getting our veteran rewards until after our free time runs out and we get charged.

If there were a way to pre-pay for your subscription to get the vet rewards early, I'd be all over it.

I could have sworn I read a thread somewhere on the internet earlier today at work where someone accomplished this and explained how he did it. I'm going nuts everywhere looking for it >_>

A lot of people would. That bothers me.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

I believe you can do it through the Mog Station. - https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/Login?cont=account&request=mogstation

Is it still possible to pay the subscription using SE crysta for PS3 users? I'd assume so but can't be too sure.

Yes yes, me and many others would like to know how. I know they said timecards or something along those lines works, but I don't think any place in NA has such a thing yet.

I went through all the options and service screens of my Mog Station and Square Enix Account management pages to no avail, so it seems to me we have to wait for the free period to expire unless you can get a hold of a game time card. So waiting time is 14/30 days, depending on what version you bought and when.

In this particular and isolated case, there is no way to force our money upon a business. Funny old world....

I logged into the mogstation once to get familiar with it and make sure my account info looked accurate. I saw the area to select which subscription plan you wanted and to choose your payment method. I didn't actually try to go ahead and do it though.

If you were to go ahead with it, it will accept everything but charge you 0.00. Then if you take a gander at your Sqaure Enix account and select "List Subscriptions" it will say when your next billing date will be, and how much for. I assume that is the date we get our batch of shiny things.

So the way people have done it so far is by using game cards and adding them to your account, since the way a game card works, once it is registered that time is added to your account and thus you recieve the rewards. I believe the GC are only sold in JP atm and people were using 3-4 of them and by adding them to their account, they recieved 90+ days.

Since we cant do game cards in us yet, and most of us have the free days till the 30th, we just have to wait.

THANK YOU! I just posted that I couldn't figure out where to find the billing, etc. Not sure how I missed your post the first time around. :#
