CE Redemption(Windows)Follow

I aplogize if there is something similiar out there,

Im already getting the run around from square and I am insanely frustrated. And apparently you need to be a certain level to even post on the lodestone, so here I am!
I tried registering my code on the Mog Station and it has somehow added on another FFXIV profile(I now have FFXIV1 and FFXIV2) I just assumed it would upgrade my exsisting account from standard to collectors. Idk if having a "legacy" account has anything to do with it, but now im stuck with FFXIV1 that currently has my character I put time in since day one of Beta Phase 4 into now, and FFXIV2 has my collectors edition items. im waiting on a response from Square but im not holding my breath. I was hoping someone knew a way to maybe merge them? Or I feel im SOL and may have to restart my character.

That is where you're at if SE doesn't merge them for you. You can't trade toons between services and your CE items will only be available to toons on XIV2. My buddy from work is right there with you and hasn't heard back from SE yet.

A lot of folks white Knight me so believe me when I say that I heard the words, "well your game is registered and you have free game time now. There is nothing more we owe you."

I want to **** a brick for his frustration. I'm not trying to be a bearer or bad news to you, but I don't want to mislead you. Best thing to do is get your rep's ID number and escalate the call.

From what I've heard it can take a while, but your alternative is calling and waiting for a longer time but getting it done sooner.

I appreciate the input darexius, yeah im already at the point where im considering not even playing because im having a hard time supporting them through this. I get its a fresh launch but due to the betas and all the preorders I would think you should anticipate a huge turnout, I bearly got to play during the early access due to all the log in issues. And then the 0 clarity as to how to go about doing this kind of stuff its insanely frustrating.

I feel your pain, for you and my friend. I love the game and I love what Yoshi has put into it, and I praise and defend them where applicable, but I agree the registration part should be a ton simpler than it is.

All else I can say is it'll be worth it if you decide to stick with it.

I actually have the same problem as you Kadart..

I registered my CE on Service Account 2, yet the launcher decided to make a new service account and register all my pre-order items and free playtime on that one.... Now I'm just waiting for a reply ... x_x

Why? The rep is just doing his job. You're going to let him get into trouble because SE doesnt give him the means to help you and you feel entitled to be helped now now now instead of waiting a bit for a response from SE. It's people like you that made me quit Customer Service.
