Preorder question :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

If i preordered and used the code that gave early access/pre order items, then what exactly does the code that comes in the physical game box (when you pick up the game) do? and if i need to use THAT code too then how would I link it with the service account (im assuming the code will create/have its OWN service account) that gave the moogle cap pre order items?

You have 3 more days of access using the Pre-Order code. You will need to input the game code to continue playing for 30 days after that. During that time you will have to set up a subscription with a Credit Card or buying Crystal Points (or whatever they are called) to continue playing after that.

EDIT: You will have the option of adding the code to an existing account. DO NOT choose new account.

ok new question on the permanent service account options it says Windows Beta... then the option thats to be added to that is the PS3 pre order.

Why is WIndows Beta test a permanent option when Ive never even played on PC? Can i link my PS3 pre order to that (windows) service account option? Or do I have to create a new service account that shows PS3 as permanent option (if possible) then link the PS3 pre order to that one?

I am fairly certain that if you are trying to use anything other than the PS3 to work through this process, you are potentially leading yourself down a path of destruction. You should be able to link accounts and set up payments through the PS3. The PC players have to use a different process.

I thought when I registered, there were two button. Add Window Service and Add Playstation Service. Wouldn't you just click on whichever one you bought and put in the product key?

I think it shows you your character too for each service account.

I am using a PS3 >.> those are the option listed on the screen while on PS3

well i have no character sto show and no there isnt an add windows service and add ps3 service button theres just "beta" and "preorder" button I hit the pre order button (again this is all being done on the ps3) after I hit that then thats when the next screen show sup saying windows beta permanent option option to be added: ps3 pre order
