I haven't gotten any but wow. Who would be able to use them now anyway it's too early.
Just on the Legacy servers where people (and RMT) amassed 100's of milions of gil each.
Go join a fresh server, it's quiet as hell and it's lovely.

Thats just it I'm on one of the new servers. I have gotten tells from 2 diffrent companies today.
So what did you name your character? "Ibuy Gillz"?

It is rather strange. Bad luck i guess.Never got a message myself, but it also happened to me on ffxi.. I NEVER got tells on that from gilsellers either for some strange reason, not that I'm complaining lol.

Well we can't be sure. An easy way to prove it is to show us the sites that contacted him to sell gill.
I had a tell. it said 10K for $7. I don't recall the name of the charater and the site was something like cuingame.com or something.
I seriously got a tell from br osale on midgardsormr. So much for being safe in fresh servers

That is someone already trolling, especially since 10k is really nothing. Probably made the Gil in Phase 4 and trying to send you to a page and still your information. Please report of all those accounts since you are in a new server all of those most be trolling or scammers.

What confuses me is how the gil sellers even managed to make any gil to sell with the server issues, lol.

I saw gil spam in Limsa during the open beta... so I have no doubt that the farmers are already setting up shop.

I guess you forgot about all the 1.0 people. I'm also not on a new server.
No, I got these /tells on a new server. That's why I don't get how they even have gil to sell.
I haven't seen them yet.
I'm guessing they just banned previous accounts on 1.0, not deactivated their Keys or deleted their characters... so all the RMT we had in 1.0 can now happily play again on 2.0... and i can tell you, there were quite a lot of them :/

I would actually be surprised if you in particular didn't get a /tell.
I actually saw gil sellers in beta phase 4 hahaha. So I'm not surprised at all by this

Wouldn't they all just go away after their time is up or they get banned? Since a lot of the servers are preventing character creation, they would go away for a while until they allow more character creation on those server.
I just logged on to see how easy it be and gill seller are shouting in Uldah. It's funny they still call the game FF14. I hope it will be this easy "2 tries' to log on later after 6pm EST.

there was a post on here late last night offering power leveling and gil.
Considering the effort it takes to even get Market Board access and the fact that gil so far is meaningless, I think its funny that gilsellers are here. But they're in any game I guess. Some idiots will buy gil and thats all it takes.
I just hope they're better than in XI, where gilsellers were rampant for years - everything from Auction House to NM monopolization to endgame.
