A friend of mine whose main character is on Ultros started a character on Carbuncle to play around with until Ultros logins get fixed... and she said she just got invited to a linkshell for people who are also waiting to log into their main characters on other servers!
The linkshell is called "Server Down SadPanda."

Lol that's great, I can imagine people making funny names link shells when the servers are back to normal or our aim character worlds :)
That is damn funny.
On them begging us to reroll on another server, I doubt alot of people would be up for this. They don't want to give up their progress or be seperated from friends. I think an easy safe bet would to ask people if they would like a free server transfer to a new or under populated server. I think then it would balance out, and everyone would be happy.

Agreed. If they offer a free server transfer then I will pack up the mog house tonight. I will move straight into one of those shiny new mog houses on one of the Japanese servers.
I thought about going there originaly due to the hours I work, but was unsure of how the english speaking population would be.
I was on Ridill and saw some named Wants Stableserver.
