I get that every now and then. But then it just goes back to 1017 or some other error that closes the launcher completely.

...also there's an ether egg on the main screen if you don't hit any buttons a big dragon will fly out and destroy all of FFXIV...it's pretty awesome.

is there a way to turn off the movie when you sit at the title screen to long . all the problems ive had hit cutaway like 50 times today :)

If you sit in the character select screen you won't cut out to the movie.

Thanks for the protip!

I kind of think it's funny how FFXI cultivated many of us to sit in at a login screen, without a queue, and basically camp for spots on severely restricted servers.

Servers have been up all day, and working very smoothly, for the small number of people allowed on. I was on for about 6 hours, but no one else in my ls could get on.
