Question on my 1.0 char in legacy serverFollow

So I have a Level 23 gladiator along with 2 other lvl 20's and 20 something profession all on the same character.

It's a legacy JP server so I had decided to more or less ignore that character and created a new character on Ultros. Well our good ole server issues today got me to log on to that character just to mess around. I see that character has 80k gil and obviously advanced further along. My question is this. Will I ever be able to transfer him to a NA server or is he more or less forced to stay in a legacy server? I'm just trying to decide if I should play that character or just continue on with my new one in the Ultros server.

Thanks for the info crazy. Yea I was thinking along the same lines as you. I didn't play the character a whole lot so it wouldn't take me that much time to catch up and I wanted to kind of get that fresh start as well.

Haha same...thats what I noticed was I had a whole bunch of different mats and obviously the 80k gil would of came in handy though I don't feel that being that much...just would help early on where at like lvl 8 i had about 2k gil and I guess can't use the AH till around 20ish to sell stuff.

Just sad cuz last night before I went to bed I got the a lvl 8 Marauder set along with the lvl 8 weapon and was ready to go today and boom..havent been able to log on all day.
