Early Access from a different Perspective.Follow

#1 Aug 25 2013 at 11:15 AM Rating: Default
I have played SE games for a very long time and played other MMOs from beta to launch. I understand there are growing pains but as someone who invested in the collectors edition with the premise I would be afforded early access prior to the huge influx of all other players I am extremely disappointed. I played v1.0 for a week and it sucked, so i am not legacy. I have participated in all the betas. Those of you who describe this as beta are wrong and giving SE a complete pass on this debacle. I paid for my copy to be able to play the early access therefore for the next 30, days until i decide to subscribe, I am a paying customer, early access included.

I see this as the Beta 5 Stress Test with the accompanying messages of "expect server instability and issues" accompanying it. Then I woke up and saw that the game was live with over a million players. /sadface

How is this perspective different from all of the other complaints that say the exact same things almost verbatim? :P

Completely agree, there is no excuse. EA started yesterday with so many maintence and nothing fixed. Its is far worse than open beta, we actually paid.

You didn't pay for EA. You paid for a copy of the game. EA is just a benefit.

You said " I agree" to that. LOOK WHAT IT SAYS!

5. INTERRUPTION TO THE SERVICE

From time to time, in order to provide our customers with the optimal gaming experience, it is necessary for SQUARE ENIX to conduct routine maintenance on the computers and/or servers that support the Game. During these times, access to the Game or support services may be interrupted. Access may also be temporarily suspended in whole or in part, without notice, due to emergency repairs, fire, flood, explosion, war, strike, embargo, governmental action or failure to act, the act of any civil or military authority, act of God, or by any other causes beyond SQUARE ENIX’s control, or any other reasons for which SQUARE ENIX, in its sole discretion, deems that temporary suspension is necessary. You acknowledge that disruptions of service may occur and waive any causes of action against SQUARE ENIX in any way arising from or related to any such disruptions of service.

I don't know why people keep saying "Nothing fixed"

Debugging is a process. They may fix one problem the one thats showing itself, but another pops up. The kinks will get worked out.

All I'm saying is that I wouldn't paid for an early copy of the game with the promise of playing over the weekend if the game I bought wasn't unable to play over 70% of the time...I would of waited till next weekend, since I "work during the week" You get my drift? Ok thanks
