Yup, I can't tell if they are progressing forward or backward. regardless... UNACCEPTABLE!

Not even a queue. It's like their way of saying "We can't fix our issues, so FUFUFUFUFUFU! sit there like a mouse and keep clicking that button for hours nonstop."

If only the technology for a queue system had been invented. But no, let's make customers sit there and repeatedly have to manually connect instead of implementing a $5 (joking obviously) queue system.

I created an Account just for this....They can't get a server issue corrected. Its not like this is their first time with MMO. This is unacceptable. Its not free its a business they need to be more professional with this. So many maintence and nothing to show.

Where are all those people that run backwards naked through SE's corn field to come say this is early access it is supposed to happen.

Aren't they in maintenance for another 30 minutes per their announcement? If so, then yeah you won't be getting on during maintenance.
"In game announcement: From 15:30 to 17:30 (GMT), emergency maintenance will be performed on Final Fantasy XIV. Please log out before maintenance begins. See the News section for more details."

I got that too and now its saying NA/EU servers are down again
#19 Aug 25 2013 at 11:02 AM Rating: Good
There aren't "fixes" to overloaded servers. All of these down-times have been utter failures and wastes of time. The only solution is to expand capacity, which they absolutely will not do because they know that the population is going to plummet once players have to pay monthly. Notice how the Japanese servers are never down? That's because the game is not inherently buggy (and does not need patching/hot-fixing) and the problems are a lack of sufficient hardware.

To make matters worse, now we don't even have a queue. This is no early access - this is early frustration - frustration that should have been accounted for and resolved.

We've been treated pretty poorly for paying customers and apologizing for the inconvenience is not good enough. If things progress as they are, I will likely have my pre-order refunded, despite my enjoyment of the game and world.

I think they announced that the maintenance was over half an hour ago....930am PDT is 1130am centeral....35 min ago. I don't like logging in and seeing a "server is full, please try back later" message. Is that a sneak preview of their "technical solution" to duty finder woes?
