So when do you think these restrictions will be lifted for those who want to join their group of friends?

Saw a post from Yoshi P stating almost all servers are loaded to the point if they raised caps the world would burn... Hopefully they'll add some more capacity soon.

I am betting on Monday being a better day than most for you to try and see if they have lifted some of the restrictions since many people will have to work on that day and its not official release yet either. It's kind of a small window of opportunity... my guess anyways.
I would think Tuesday. If not, many new customers who by the game on release day (not sure why I keep finding 2 dates... Tuesday, and the 27th of next month lol) are not going to be very happy when they can't create a character.
At this rate they're going to have to add additional servers for Tuesday.

At this rate, they're going to run out of Final Fantasy-themed names for the servers. I'll be more than happy to make a character on the Y'SHTOLA server next week, though...

Well, I rather they expand the servers rather than create new ones, as creating new ones doesn't actually solve the issue. Just have to be patient! Well, my friend has to anyway.

Doesn't sound like anytime soon
If people can't join friends on over populated servers then might be nice to allow people on the over populated servers to transfer to a less populated one for free or at least a reduced cost for a limited time.
If they want us to play on low population servers then allow people to transfer and do so.
