Your link says the end time was changed to 4:40 PDT which was over an hour ago. It was not extended - it ended early.
@bolded, you don't work at Square Enix so I'm not sure why you're making statements like this and telling people not to log in.

Just wait with the queue window open, you will get in before long. My problem is that maintenance is over and I still can't get into a grand company because the instance for the quest won't let me in just like before.
