Information about early access and getting legacyFollow

#1 Aug 24 2013 at 9:48 AM Rating: Decent
Hey guys!

I hope someone will be able to help. I bought FFXIV 1.0 and never got a chance to play it. I believe I will not get early access. I know I should get the 2.0 though. I just would like as much information as possible on everything about having bought 1.0. I seems like everything is scattered and some info seems to condridict other information. Some of the question I am trying to answer. How do I tell if I will receive my collectors edition stuff? How do I know when ARR will show as a service on my account? There are many other questions but can't think of them at the moment.

I get this message after logging into the client, I'm not sure what it means.

There are no valid service accounts.

Please follow the URL below to register your pre-order code for early access.

No one really gets notified of replies - any thread you've posted on that has new replies has a green arrow and a number in parentheses representing the total new posts, however, so that's usually the threads I scan for first on the forums.

As a 1,0 player you qualify for a copy of the new game at no additional cost, but you do not get early access. "Legacy Accounts" are 1.0 players that forked over at least three months of service payments when SE started charging. Legacy characters are any 1.0 characters that were imported. Legacy accounts get early access, but not all legacy characters qualify.

If you have no valid service accounts, that means SE didn't designate your 1.0 account as legacy and qualified for early access. You can still get early access if you pay for a new copy of the game.
