What do you guys think?

It's not a beta anymore and tons of people have been having trouble playing all morning.

ok what i think you should do is go make an MMO, set up all the servers yourself, and if i even get 1 frame less than 60fps, i'm going to go take a dump all over your forums.

Everything is working fine for me. Seems like a pretty smooth launch pre launch so far. I realize people are having problems, but we all expected that. To get bent out of shape would imply that you are surprised by any errors that are occurring. I have not heard one peep about error 3102 popping up, and the recent error 90k are from the forced boot to due emergency maintenance. So far so good as far as I'm concerned. Smiley: nod

I agree that things are going great. I have been through many, many launches and SE is addressing things IMMEDIATELY. I have been in situations where things were not addressed for hours. They are really impressive this go around. I wish everyone could see that, but it'll all iron out eventually. :)

I actually had zero problems on the new char I made on Ultros today. Aside from trying to take on level 4s as a level 3 ARC and forgetting to keybind my potions and dying. But that was my fault, not the game's fault.

All you seem to do is ***** and moan, if you don't like the game then leave, otherwise stop being a drama queen.
Please stop being so negative

Honestly this has gone pretty smoothly overall. Diablo 3 launch was DREADFUL for a whole week, from minute 1 onward people had so many issues. Had to be one of worst launches to date. This is nothing compared to D3...to even bring up D3 in comparison to this is really reaching for attention. Why you're attempting to make FFXIV launch seem ridiculously bad I have no clue...but its sad. You have my sympathy.

Things have been smooth as silk for me so far. The game has been running great, and I've had no connectivity issues, either. Well, I never did from Alpha through all the betas, as well, but that's beside the point. I just think Square-Enix has been doing an admirable job so far.

Everything has been smooth for me. Logged in with no issue, played with no noticeable lag, but then got kicked for maintenance.

Eh, I have to go to work anyway.

For the record, I'm not only fine with the fact that SE is taking down servers to fix a crippling bug, I'm delighted that they did it so quickly.

Also.. Diablo 3? What? No Simcity?

They could do 3 hours of maintenance now when something was fundamentally broken and give us a full afternoon and evening of play. ooooor they could wait until midnight and everyone has to spend their Saturday playing a broken game.

No brainer. Fix the big problem now, rather than later.

Honestly, this is a reversal from their Beta Test problem, where everyone criticized them for waiting until it was almost over, then only extending the beta in NA during off-prime hours.

Yet, here he is, complaining again.

I think you should leave and go play a game you enjoy, with a community that enjoys your company.

If such a thing exists.

Extra? Who paid Extra? You got early access just for preordering, you didn't have to pay extra.

Yeah, it's not like every MMO launch ever (unless you are Rift) has had problems like this.

Also who paid extra for early access? It's a pre-order bonus, pre-orders don't also cost extra.

Any non-legacy 1.0 players who already had basic access to the game on the 27th may have paid extra and pre-ordered an ARR copy just for early access and the items. Or bought the access code from someone.

In fact, I preordered mine from GMG and got 25% off the price. CE (digital) for $37.50. I think Regular was only $22.50 or so.

You don't know what bullying is.

This is not bullying. This is me being tired of your perpetual, non-stop troll threads that constantly complain about the game. It's enough. We get it. You hate FFXIV. Now go away.

#25REDACTED, Posted: Aug 24 2013 at 1:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I don't hate the game, and rallying to have me perma-banned is a little bit childish.
