Need Help: PC download :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

Installed the launcher, and now it's asking for my one-time password.

I don't have a SQEX Security Token, don't have a smartphone. Can I play without, or is it a requirement?

If you don't have a token or the smartphone app linked to your account you can skip this step and you should be able to get through fine. Are you getting an error message that is telling you that it's required?

When I launch the launcher, it asks for username/password/one-time ID.

I tried without one-time ID, and it didn't take it

Problem solved, my username wasn't the username I registered as; they decided to add a number to the end of it...

Anyone with similar issue, check account registration e-mail
