I'm sorry for the flood of EA questions. However, I can't find an answer to mine. If somebody could direct me to the proper place, or have an answer, that would be appreciated.

I currently own FFXIV for 1.0. I am not a legacy member, so I purchased the PS3 pre-order, because I like to play on both systems. When I went to register my EA code for PS3, it registered. However, the confirmation was sent to a different e-mail of mine than my 1.0 account is on. Have they allowed us to link accounts for the PS3 & PC versions yet?

Also, will I be able to play EA on my PC? Or solely on PS3? Because I have copies for both, the PS3 version is a preorder, the PC version is a 1.0 acct non-legacy.

Thank you for your help.

You can only link accounts while in-game as far as I know, and that happened during the beta. It'll happen again on Saturday, you'll be asked to link your account when you start the game.

And yes, you get early access for your service account, so both Windows and PS3.

What he said. ..and make sure that you do not create a new service account! Ignore the "Create Service Account" button and click on the "next" button! As a 1.0 player you should already have a FFXIV service account.

It will ask me when I start the PS3 version? Or the PC version? I played this past weekend & didn't receive anything on my PC version, is it under settings? Or on the PS3 version?

Also, my worry was more that I received my Early Access confirmation on a different e-mail than my 1.0 account is registered under. My 1.0 account is registered under ##4@gmail.com, & got my confirmation at ##5@gmail.com

Account management is unbelievably complicated.

I suppose when you registered your EA code, you created a new profile instead of logging in with the same account information from your Square Enix account, which is a different thing. The Square Enix account is the main, important one where your service account and subsciptions are managed. While the profile is more like a store account.

I'm not sure what happens from here, but try logging in the Square Enix account with both e-mail address to check if they ended up being one and the same account (then you're fine) or if you ended up with two different accounts (then it's customer support time, yay).

Oh and to make things more complicated, soon they'll add the Mog Station to that. Because it was too simple Smiley: lol

I remember being so happy when I found out there would be no more Play Online for FFXIV. Somehow they managed to make things even more convoluted and complicated.
