Hello all,
I'm a non-legacy FFXIV ver 1.0 CE account holder. I purchased the PS3 CE version of ARR for the swag and for the early access code.
Unfortunately, my PS3 has malfunctioned recently and I will be unable to use that platform. The only eligible platform I have handy is my PC.
How should I go about redeeming the early access code from my preorder keeping the above restrictions in mind? Should I choose my platform as PC in this case rather than PS3? Wouldn't that conflict with my existing status as a ver 1.0 player ? Or should I register it as the PS3 as my platform and then ignore the ps3 redemption steps ? Would doing so allow me to play early on PC?
I know you all have been seeing these sorts of questions all day, and I appreciate your help and tolerance.

I'm actually surprised a thread hasn't been made about this already. From what I understand, you register you early access code through the link(you should receive in an email). Just make sure that you're logging in using the Square Enix ID that you used to create your 1.0 version characters and you'll be able to continue using them in the early access.
