Question about 1.0 Collector's EditionFollow

This is probably posted but I couldn't find it. If we previously owned the 1.0 CE and therefore do not need to repurchase the game...do we just reinstall the old 1.0 disc? or is there a place we download the new client from? If so, is it the beta client?

You don't need the old disc, as it is a whole new client. You should get an email from SE near release with download instructions. I think the beta client can be updated to full release, but not sure, so won't include a link here (if it even exists still).

They stated somewhere that the Phase 4 beta client is the one that will be used for the official launch.

The 1.0 CE I purchased back in 2010 comes with a buddy pass which was never used. I am wondering if it's still valid.

I still have a buddy pass as well, and as far as I've read they will still work.

I wonder if they'll let me redeem the rite of passage thing even though it's expired. I gave up on the game and forgot about that thing.
