Hey guys before I start the game and create my character do I have to apply my preorder code to my account so I dont miss out on the items that come from preordering.

If so how do I do it, or does phase 4 not count as creating your character for release so I can add it before early access?

I'm confused!!

Actually, I too would like to raise a question about this.

I had XIV added to my Squeenix profile, using the 18 digit code. As of yesterday XIV is no longer on my profile, and the code is reading as invalid. I can't begin the download until XIV is back onto my profile, so what exactly am I to do?

My first thought is when I receive the 20 digit code, I can go to the Squeenix account management system and add the game that way. Is that the solution here?

I don't think you can do that yet, seeing as this is the beta. I didn't have the option to enter my 18 character code yet either. I assume that option will become available upon launch (or early access)

I am personally going to wait to enter that code until the early access period, or when I have the physical copy of the game. SE said that they would e-mail me when I was able to enter that code (I think I remember hearing the 20th?) and until that e-mail it stays in my pocket.

From my understanding we will be able to transition our characters (assuming no major disasters) from beta to early access. Early access is only available with the code (maybe another way, I'm not sure) so by default to gain early access you would need to enter your code then, and from there you would get your preorder items. Then you will set up your pay structure (we don't have one yet in the beta) and once you do that you get the 30, 60, 90, and 180 day pre-pay options (with their associated rewards. I am personally waiting on my ahriman mount Smiley: nod
