Did you guys preorder on PSN? That's the message I got last night. It's only after I redeemed my beta code that I got the normal screens.
Yes I did preorder from PS3. So we still need to use the beta code we got in email? My thinking was me pre-ordering would get me to the same client page as the beta code would. Thanks for help, I just deleted and re-downloaded so if that doesn't work I'll just use code.

Oh you didn't need to delete the client. You just need to redeem the code and somehow your PSN account will be recognized as a beta account granting you access to the client.
I didn't get any beta code in my email when I purchased it. I'm redownloading the client, which after reading the replies find it's unnecessary.

Preordering from PSN doesn't give you beta access so the client will only work on the 24th. However, when beta applications open on the 17th, you can apply and they should give you a code to redeem on PSN. Just redeem the code, and start downloading the beta client(to be safe). Then open your preorder client and see if you get to the login screen. If you're in, you can go ahead and cancel the beta client download. That's what I did this morning and I'm patching right now.

I wouldn't say they are different, but the PSN client doesn't give you beta access. You still need to redeem the beta code on PSN for your preorder client to play the beta. A
