Because I keep typing this over and over again across different forums -

For NA PS3 users who try to input a redemption code and receive an error: chances are you received a UK/EU code by mistake. Make a UK PSN account, and redeem the code through the PS Store that way. It will then allow you to download and install the client. When you start the beta on Friday/Saturday, do this on your regular PSN account. Because the file is shared across all the users on your system, your regular PSN account will have access to the game. Make sure you link your Square-Enix account with your regular PSN account this weekend.

I just want to chime in and confirm this worked for me in phase 3, when SE sent US codes to all Canadians. Just don't forget to switch back to your regular PSN account before you play on friday, or you'll link a throwaway PSN account to your real SE account, and that cannot be undone.

Bump. Careful using this method to DL your client. Sounds like it works though.

Unfortunately, this method doesn't work for me either. I have received 2 PS3 codes actually - one in my main email, and one in a dummy - And neither of them work for my NA account. I then created an EU account, and again - both codes were invalid. Then came the UK account with the same result.

Any suggestions? I'm not sure whats wrong here... what are the chances of being sent 2 faulty codes? x.x That, or I'm doing something wrong? I try to register the codes in both the PS store, and on the XMB under account management. Out of ideas now xD
