While reading through the Live Letter that came out yesterday, I saw two answers that sound like they are conflicting. Perhaps I am misreading them, or I'm just missing some important detail.
Quote:
Q7: Will the arcanist’s attribute points be shared between summoner and scholar?

A7: No, they will not be shared.

Quote:
Q41: I heard that you can reallocate your attribute points, but will this be something you can do easily multiple times?

A41: It won’t be something you can do so easily. For example, it’s not like you will be able to allocate them so today you can challenge the Great Labyrinth of Bahamut as scholar, and tomorrow allocate them so you can go as summoner.

At first, I read the answer to Question 7 and thought that meant SMN and SCH would have separate bonus points to allocate. But the answer to Question 41 would indicate that you have to choose between allocating bonus points to either be a better SMN or be a better SCH.

Does this mean that you get a set amount of bonus points for ACN, SMN and SCH combined? e.g. If you have 3 bonus points to allocate, you can either put all 3 into one (and only one) of ACN/SMN/SCH, or you can put 1 point into each, or some other combination.

Yoshi made a mistake. At first he said that they won't be shared. Then after the break he came back and said that the attributes will be shared but they can't be reset easily. If you put MND points into SCH for example, they will carry over to SMN, which actually benefits most from INT.

Thanks! The thread with all the questions and answers at the official forum didn't mention Yoshi's correction, so this explains everything.
